Psychotherapy
To me, therapy is a journey of “Collaborative Curiosity”.
I have worked with adults, young people, and people in relationships in a variety of public and private health settings including community health services, inpatient programs, multicultural centres, and relationship/ family violence support services such as Relationships Australia and SHIPS Psychology.
I am passionate about exploring how traumatic experiences and attachment patterns impact on our mental health, sense of well-being and life decisions. I have a strong interest in mind-body connection and integrating cognitive, emotional, somatic, and creative techniques to facilitate healing and growth. What is IFS?
IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a compassionate and non-pathologizing approach. It’s based on the notion that our inner system is made of interconnected parts with their own roles, feelings and desires. The goal in IFS is to heal the wounded parts and create a harmonious system that is led by the Self.
